SUNDAYS AT SPB
WORSHIP WITH US
We are delighted you are considering coming along to us this Sunday! We know visiting somewhere new can be hard, especially regarding the church, which we often have different ideas about! However, at SPB, we wanted to let you know how things are and invite you to come as you are. Our service starts at 10:30 AM, and we do not mind what way you come as long as you join us.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our welcome team who might suggest somewhere to sit and give you anything you will need for Worship; then, like everyone else there, you will be led through the service by whoever is leading that service. When the service is over, please do not feel you have to rush away as there is always Tea and Coffee (and lots of other treats!)

OUR CORE SUNDAY VALUES
BIBLE TEACHING
At SPB we love the Bible. It takes centre stage in every one of our Services because it is by it that we come to Know God, what Jesus has done for us, and how we are meant to worship Him and live for him each day. Our minister will take time each service to explain the passage of Scripture that has been read. There will be bibles in our seats for people to follow along. And you can catch up on our teaching via our podcast
PRAYER
As Anglicans, our worship is shaped by Scripture. We are a people of the Word of God and a people of prayer. Our worship is shaped by the beauty of Common Prayer, meaning as we come together to Worship God and hear from him, we communicate with him in Prayer. We have our weekly Sunday Prayer meeting called Focused from 9:45 where we pray for ourselves, Church, Mission, our City and the world. Then all of our services are shaped by a Style of service known as Morning Prayer.
WORSHIP
At SPB we understand worship to be more than just comign togeher on Sunday to sing songs, we see worship as whole life following of Jesus For Jesus. We delight in worshipping as we gather together each Sunday, we worship as we sing, we worship as we serve one another in love, and we worship as we delight in hearing the bible read and preached. We are blessed to be lead in our worship by some wonderful people.
COMMUNITY
Sunday is not just about turning up, and its not just about our Sunday. At SPB we are a family whether you have worshipped with us for 30 years or never before we want you to feel part of our community because we value community. We value community because it is in community we come to know Gods live, that's why on Sunday you are welcome as you are and we always have a time of refreshment's and community after every service.
SPB KIDS
SUNDAY SCHOOL
At SPB, we are blessed by a growing and vibrant Sunday, with some wonderful children and great leaders. They meet most Sundays during our Worship services (bar family worship). FAMILY WORSHIP
The 4th Sunday of every month is our Family worship, where everyone comes together to Sing praises to God, Hear from his word, pray, and enjoy the company of the whole Church family. Afterwards, we normally enjoy some bacon Baps!
